Matches at national events utilize four-person referee crews, as each game is meaningful and features top teams in the country in pursuit of national titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complimentary lunch, water and snacks at the fields every day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Referees are solely responsible for making their own transportation arrangements to, from, and during the events. This includes to and from the fields each day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To receive complimentary shared hotel room and travel stipend, referees must be 18 years of age, live at least 75 miles from the venue, and work at least three games per day, for three days<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A travel stipend, if commuting more than 60 miles to the venue:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$50 for in-state grassroots referees and $125 for grassroots referees from outside the state<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$100 for in-state regional referees and $225 for regional referees from outside the state<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$250 for national referees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Game fees are:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>13U-14U: $75\/$60\/$60\/$35<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15U-16U: $85\/$65\/$65\/$35<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>17U-19U: $90\/$70\/$70\/$35<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-get-involved\"><strong>HOW TO GET INVOLVED<\/strong>&#8230;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For national events in the 2025-26 season, please contact Ryan Cigich (<a href=\"mailto:rcigich@usyouthsoccer.org\">rcigich@usyouthsoccer.org<\/a>) for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group ghostkit-has-frame is-style-default ghostkit-custom-RNunv\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preference for national events&nbsp;will be given to those referees who have worked league matches within their state or who have represented their state at the USYS Regional Championships. Interested referees should get approval from their State Referee Committee, and a support letter from their assignor is also recommended.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-theme-secondary-color has-text-color\" id=\"league-games\"><span class=\"ghostkit-text-uppercase\"><strong>League games<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ghostkit-divider ghostkit-divider-type-solid ghostkit-custom-Z2e0VvV\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-experience-1\"><strong>THE EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">National League games take place in varying formats \u2014 from large events to small events to one-off games. Many games are very competitive, with teams competing to earn advancement to The National League Cup. Most games utilize three-person referee crews, primarily filled by referees from the states within each conference\u2019s geographic area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"midwest-region-referee-academy\"><strong>MIDWEST REGION REFEREE ACADEMY<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Midwest Region Referee Academy provides young officials in the region with additional coaching and learning opportunities. The program takes advantage of Great Lakes Conference and Midwest Conference events to provide an environment for increased and immediate mentoring in highly competitive games.
