DeSmit served as a valuable piece of the Sporting JAX lineup, particularly in the second half of the 2025/26 season. The Maryland native became one of the league’s most dangerous attacking threats, scoring 12 goals.
Prior to Sporting JAX, DeSmit was already making a name for herself at the pre-professional level. Her performance with Christos FC earned her the 2023 USL W League Golden Boot award.
