Players that want to transfer to a team in another club, or simply be released from their current club, must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Print the Travel Player Release\/Transfer Form<\/a> and fill out the Player Information and Parent Certification. Signatures MUST <\/strong>be hand-written.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Present the form to the appropriate Team Official for the ORIGINAL<\/strong> team to obtain the data to complete the Release Request portion. The team name MUST <\/strong>match the official roster EXACTLY<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Present the form to the appropriate Team Official for the NEW<\/strong> team to obtain the data to fully complete the Transfer Request portion. The team name MUST <\/strong>match the official roster EXACTLY<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Scan the completed form as a PDF and email it to the D<\/a>irector of Affiliate Logistics<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Once reviewed by MSYSA, the NEW TEAM <\/strong>Club Administrator (NOT <\/strong>the parent, coach, or manager) will initiate the transfer request in GotSport in their Club\u2019s Admin User Account and follow these steps precisely.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    IMPORTANT NOTE for New Team Club Administrators: <\/strong> 
    When completing the League selection, please make sure to select the 2024-2025 MSYSA Official Travel Rosters (MD State)<\/strong> as the final part of your Transfer request. DO NOT<\/strong> accidentally select other events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. NEW<\/strong> TEAM<\/strong> Club Administrator will then select the “Forms and Requests” tab under “Club Management” and click the ID number to the left of the request and click the “approve” button to approve their own request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. PLEASE NOTE: <\/strong>A $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE<\/strong> ADMINISTRATIVE FEE IS ASSESSED TO THE RECEIVING CLUB, AT THE TIME OF INITIATION, FOR EACH PLAYER TRANSFER.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      The final execution of the transfer is handled EXCLUSIVELY by MSYSA in GotSport after the completion of all the steps above.<\/strong> The originating club\/team DOES NOT<\/strong> un-assign the player and the new club\/team DOES NOT<\/strong> re-register the player.\u200b Please DO NOT<\/strong> add the player as secondary on their new team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
