Coach, Manager)&nbsp;or otherwise must register&nbsp;<strong>EACH<\/strong>&nbsp;year in order to be rostered with a team. All parts of mandatory compliance including&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sportsengine-develop.go-vip.net\/msysa\/mandatory-compliance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">background checks<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sportsengine-develop.go-vip.net\/msysa\/mandatory-compliance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>SafeSport<\/u><\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sportsengine-develop.go-vip.net\/msysa\/mandatory-compliance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">concussion training<\/a>&nbsp;must be complete before an adult will be approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, any Travel Head Coach registering MUST meet minimum license requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introduction to Grassroots Module<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two in-person Grassroots course (one must be 11v11 and the other can be 9v9, 7v7, or 4v4)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One online Grassroots course across any of the four levels (11v11, 9v9, 7v7, 4v4)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Teams will not be approved until all adults have completed mandatory compliance (Background Check, Heads Up Concussion Training, SafeSport Training for all and additional minimum licensing requirements for Travel Head Coaches.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adults must contact their club for their registration information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-news-events-heading\" id=\"registration-fees\">Registration Fees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While club and independent travel teams have differences in their registration process, all travel teams have the same maximum roster size for their age group:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Age<\/td><td>9-10U<\/td><td>11-12U<\/td><td>13U+<\/td><td>20U+<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Size<\/td><td>12<\/td><td>16<\/td><td>22<\/td><td><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"club-travel-teams\">Club Travel Teams<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Club travel teams must pay $21.25 + cc processing fee per player that is registered, including players added throughout the seasonal year. Teams will not be approved until all steps are complete.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-slate-accordion gpb-rounded-md gb-block-accordion gb-font-size-20\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">A Tournament Team<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-news-events-heading\" id=\"general-information\" style=\"line-height:1.5\">General Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tournament teams are registered with MSYSA for the sole purpose of participating in a tournament. They can be created for a variety of reasons such as allowing a group of friends to play together in a tournament, or to assist a team that needs more guest players allowed by the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tournament teams not currently playing in leagues may register a standard league roster and select &#8220;MDPL&#8221; (Maryland Premier League) as their league.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Team Officials of tournament teams must still meet the minimum requirements of league teams.
