LFC Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Liverpool Football Club was formed in 1892. One of the most recognisable sports teams in the world, LFC has won 6 European Cups, 19 domestic league titles, 8 FA Cups and more than 20 other major domestic and European honours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based at our home stadium of Anfield, Liverpool, LFC\u2019s star-studded men\u2019s first team squad is a mix of global superstars and home-grown talent, all of whom proudly represent the values of the Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same can be said of our LFC Women\u2019s first team, with an exciting mix of international and domestic players forming a team that continues to excite and inspire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a formidable record of developing young footballers in our Academy, many of whom have gone on to enjoy long professional football careers at the elite level of the game. Such names include Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Trent Alexander-Arnold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LFC International Academy (LFC IA)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

LFC International Academy is the global youth coaching arm of LFC. Delivering the same coaching curriculum and techniques that are used with the Club\u2019s own young players at the Academy in Liverpool, LFC IA teaches young participants how to play The Liverpool Way in countries across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LFC International Academy Michigan is an official partner of the Club and we deliver coaching programmes under the guidance of LFC. Through daily communication with the technical and business teams in Liverpool, programmes are planned, delivered and administered to the high standards expected by LFC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LFC International Academy offers young fans around the world an opportunity to learn to play The Liverpool Way, developing them both on and off the pitch. The Liverpool Way is a philosophy that runs throughout LFC. It incorporates the four core values of the club, and these values permeate through everything that we do at the LFC International Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Authentic Academy Training Experience<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

LFC Michigan gives travel soccer players ages U7 to U19 the ability to train with LFC-Accredited coaches who teach the principles and methodologies that are at the center of what is taught at LFC\u2019s Academy in Liverpool.  In addition, our popular youth development programming, Liverpool Minis and Junior Academy, for ages 4-11 is offered at several of our sites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

World Class LFC Academy Curriculum<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

We provide an authentic Liverpool FC experience, as we have a true relationship with the Academy in the UK.  We have recurring technical calls and site visits with\/from the UK, and every soccer practice session we run comes directly from drills perfected at the Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our club values, known as “The Liverpool Way,” apply to both players and coaches.  As a club, we hold ourselves to the highest standard and pride ourselves in creating a supportive environment where all players thrive both on and off the field.  Off the field it prioritizes family and community, while on the field it provides the building blocks necessary to draw out the best of what we want from our players and our teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Licensed & Liverpool FC Accredited Coaching Staff<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

We are committed to furthering the education of all our coaches, and provide many opportunities for their personal growth.  All LFC Michigan staff members participate in the LFC Coach Accreditation program, a coaching education initiative driven by the Academy in the UK.  This internal coach qualification program supports our staff with their coaching path to ensure that all coaches are coaching The Liverpool Way.  Playing and coaching The Liverpool Way is unique to our club and our members will reap the benefits of having our coaches instructed and reviewed as they work through the LFC Accreditation program\/initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From our Minis and Junior Academy developmental programming to state, regional and national competition, LFC Michigan has something for ages 4-18 in every stage of soccer development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competitive State, Regional, & National Teams<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

LFC Michigan is a member of Michigan State Youth Soccer Association and competes in National League Team, MSPSP, Director’s Academy, MSDSL, and MYSL league.  In addition, our Boys and Girls complete in US Club Soccer’s prestigious ECNL, including ECNL Regional League and ECNL RL GMA.  In the Fall or Spring seasons, qualified teams participate in Jr State and State Cups.  We also complete in USL’s Academy for boys U16-U19 and USL Youth summer league for U11-U17 boys and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiple Locations to Serve Southeast Michigan and Windsor<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

We have five sites in Southeastern Michigan and two in Ontario: Central at UWM Sports Complex, Ann Arbor, North Oakland, South Oakland, Hartland, Windsor (ON) and Mississauga (ON).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
