Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). Whether your organization is new or has been an affiliate member for years, we are excited to partner with you for the upcoming soccer season!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below you will find all of the necessary information that you will need to submit your application for New Affiliation with FYSA and as well as submitting your Re-Affiliation for existing members for the upcoming season. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW AFFILIATIONS<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

FYSA has two main categories for member organizations: Associate Affiliate<\/strong> and Club Affiliate.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While both categories grant you FYSA membership and support, there are big differences between the two, including the criteria requirements, submission deadlines, and application review processes. Take a look at the chart below to help figure out which category would be best for your organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASSOCIATE AFFILIATION<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

An associate affiliate is an organization formed to advance a particular aspect of soccer to develop or implement programs, or both, but is NOT responsible for recruiting, training, fielding, and registering of players and coaches.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

CLUB AFFILIATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A club affiliate is a soccer club or association that directly registers players and coaches, forms teams, and can coordinate competition between teams<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Associate Affiliate Subcategories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. League<\/strong>– sole purpose is to facilitate inter-affiliate competitions. As an affiliate league 100% of all teams participating in the league must be properly registered with FYSA or US Youth Soccer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tournament Hosting Organization<\/strong>– Hosts tournament format events. Can apply for tournament sanctioning  under FYSA (must submit an application for each separate tournament).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Club Affiliate Subcategories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Full Affiliate<\/strong>– a club or association that registers players, coaches, and teams. Can coordinate competitions between teams (i.e. host tournaments or in-house league).  Can register BOTH<\/strong> recreational and competitive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Recreational Affiliate<\/strong>– the same as a full affiliate but can register ONLY recreational<\/strong> and may not develop a competitive program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Associate Affiliates <\/em>CAN NOT<\/strong> register players<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NEW APPLICATION DEADLINE: <\/strong>Rolling<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Applications for associate affiliation may be submitted year round but will only be reviewed at the next BOD meeting 60 days after a completed application is submitted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Club Affiliates <\/em>CAN<\/strong> register players<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NEW APPLICATION DEADLINE:<\/strong> 60 Days prior to the March 26, 2026 (fully completed application must be received by January 15, 2026) <\/em>FYSA Board of Directors Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      New Club Affiliate applications are only reviewed twice per seasonal year in October and March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The following applications have been received for Affiliate Membership at the March 26, 2026 Board of Directors Meeting. Ratified affiliations will take effect immediately following the meeting.
