founding partner of New Capital Partners and has over 30 years of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and business development leadership experience in both entrepreneurial business ventures and established corporations.&nbsp;Prior to co-founding New Capital Partners, James served in various key roles in the healthcare industry and as an officer of&nbsp;UnitedHealth Group&nbsp;after its acquisition of Complete Health Services.<\/p><p>James is currently Chairman of the Board for&nbsp;ACES Quality Management, Collect Rx,&nbsp;Healthfuse,&nbsp;Medsurant Health,&nbsp;Precision Business, Telehealth Solution and Volly, and&nbsp;serves on the Board of&nbsp;DotCom Therapy. James previously served as a Board Member of former portfolio companies&nbsp;Teladoc which went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2015 (NYSE: TDOC),&nbsp;Awarix&nbsp;(sold to McKesson [NYSE: MCK]),&nbsp;Senior Whole Health&nbsp;(sold to TA Associates),&nbsp;Prism Pointe Technologies&nbsp;(sold to Systems Maintenance Services, Inc.),&nbsp;REPAY&nbsp;(sold to Corsair Capital) and&nbsp;P&amp;R Dental&nbsp;(sold to The Beekman Group). In addition to his role as Chairman of the Board, James also served as the CEO for&nbsp;Senior Whole Health&nbsp;during its first year of operations. He moved to the United States in 1980 and retired at the end of 2014 as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the construction company, B.L. Harbert International, LLC. During this time Mr. Rein oversaw the expanded reach on the company footprint both in the US and abroad with annual revenues over one billion dollars.<\/p><p>Currently Mr. Rein is the managing partner in the B&amp;J, LLC investment companies in partnership with Billy Harbert, the CEO of the Harbert construction company. He is a member of the Business Roundtable, the Business Council and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Seek is a leader in nostalgic oriented publishing and sells to retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Jeff began his career in finance for SouthTrust Bank from 1992 until it was purchased by Wachovia Corporation in 2005.<\/p><p>Jeff has been a key owner of the Birmingham Barons of the Southern League (AA) since 2006. In 2013 he played a major role in moving the franchise from the suburbs to a downtown location. The Barons have been one of the highest performing clubs in minor league baseball since the move.<\/p><p>Jeff currently serves on the boards of BASS Holdings and MCM Technology. In civic life, he serves on the boards of the Railroad Park Foundation, RMHC, and the Bryant-Jordan Scholarship Fund.<\/p><p>Jeff received a B.A. in Economics from Auburn University in 1991. Prior to joining the U.S. Real Estate team, Mr. Harbert served as a Director with the HMC Marketing team, raising capital for all of HMC strategies from a variety of investors ranging from high-net-worth individuals to large institutional clients. He served in this role in the New York, London and Birmingham offices.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>Mr. Harbert holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Alternative Investments from Emory University\u2019s Goizueta Business School. Additionally, he holds his FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Mr. Harbert is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Multifamily Housing Council.
