ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball reserves the right to update, modify or terminate this program at any time without binding itself to or fulfilling any specific course of action from past or future commitments. The most recent version of this policy may be found at www.alliance-absa.com. ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball maintains authority and discretion to make decisions on circumstances not expressly covered in or by this policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball shall not be obligated to approve any request for a player registration fee reimbursement based upon any other reimbursement decisions made for the benefit of the same or different players. Each request for player registration fee reimbursement shall be evaluated for eligibility based upon the current facts and circumstances.&nbsp; ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball shall have sole and final authority to make all decisions regarding the approval or denial of any player fee reimbursement request.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item\" data-accordion=\"accordion-eligibility\"><div class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-heading\"><button type=\"button\" id=\"accordion-eligibility-button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-eligibility-content\"><span class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-label\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-collapse\"><svg class=\"ghostkit-svg-icon\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M9.21967 6.2197C9.51256 5.9268 9.98744 5.9268 10.2803 6.2197L15.5303 11.4697C15.8232 11.7626 15.8232 12.2374 15.5303 12.5303L10.2803 17.7803C9.98744 18.0732 9.51256 18.0732 9.21967 17.7803C8.92678 17.4874 8.92678 17.0126 9.21967 16.7197L13.9393 12L9.21967 7.2803C8.92678 6.9874 8.92678 6.5126 9.21967 6.2197Z\" fill=\"currentColor\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/button><\/div><div id=\"accordion-eligibility-content\" class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-content is-layout-flow wp-block-ghostkit-accordion-item-is-layout-flow\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-eligibility-button\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;All requests for player registration fee reimbursement must satisfy BOTH of the following conditions:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The player has suffered a season ending injury; AND<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The player is current on the payment of all player registration fees and administrative fees.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Procedure to Submit Request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;To submit a request for player registration fee reimbursement the player\u2019s parent should fill out ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball \u201cReimbursement Request for Season Ending Injury\u201d form, this document can be found on the Alliance website. The completed form should be submitted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In order to complete the form, the injured player must be evaluated by a licensed physician. The licensed physician must determine the player\u2019s injury will prevent the player from participating in the remainder of the on- going season or prevent participation in the up-coming season. The licensed physician\u2019s determination of a season ending injury shall be attached to the completed Reimbursement Request for Season Ending Injury form.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item\" data-accordion=\"accordion-pro-rata-reimbursements\"><div class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-heading\"><button type=\"button\" id=\"accordion-pro-rata-reimbursements-button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-pro-rata-reimbursements-content\"><span class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-label\"><strong>Pro-Rata Reimbursements<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-collapse\"><svg class=\"ghostkit-svg-icon\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M9.21967 6.2197C9.51256 5.9268 9.98744 5.9268 10.2803 6.2197L15.5303 11.4697C15.8232 11.7626 15.8232 12.2374 15.5303 12.5303L10.2803 17.7803C9.98744 18.0732 9.51256 18.0732 9.21967 17.7803C8.92678 17.4874 8.92678 17.0126 9.21967 16.7197L13.9393 12L9.21967 7.2803C8.92678 6.9874 8.92678 6.5126 9.21967 6.2197Z\" fill=\"currentColor\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/button><\/div><div id=\"accordion-pro-rata-reimbursements-content\" class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-content is-layout-flow wp-block-ghostkit-accordion-item-is-layout-flow\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-pro-rata-reimbursements-button\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The length of each season is divided into four (4) quarters for the purposes of calculating the potential amount of each player registration fee reimbursement.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Eligible player registration fee reimbursements will be made on a pro-rata basis based upon the quarters remaining in the current ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball season from the date of the season ending injury. Reimbursements shall be calculated as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If a season ending injury occurs before the first quarter of the season, the player may be eligible for a refund of up to one-hundred percent (100%) of the player registration fee.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a season ending injury occurs in the first quarter of the season, the player may be eligible for a refund of up to seventy-five percent (75%) of the player registration fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a season ending injury occurs in the second quarter of the season, the player may be eligible for a refund of up to fifty percent (50%) of the player registration fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a season ending injury occurs in the third quarter of the season, the player may be eligible for a refund of up to twenty-five percent (25%) of the player registration fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Injuries which occur in the fourth quarter of the season are not eligible for any refund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Players shall not be eligible for refund of any amount of the Administrative fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Ineligible for Reimbursement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Player registrations fees will not be reimbursed by ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball for any of the following reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Players\u2019 Voluntary Cancelation.If a player voluntarily cancels or withdraws from participation with ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball for any reason are not eligible for a refund or credit.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Voluntary cancelations would include cancelations unrelated to a season ending injury and may include all personal reasons such as moving, or other family events which may prevent the player from participating.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dismissed Players. A player who is dismissed or removed from his\/her ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball team by the team\u2019s head coach for disciplinary reasons will not be eligible for a refund of any player registration fees.&nbsp; All players may be subject to disciplinary action, including but not limited to dismissal, by the team head coach for any behavior which affects the player\u2019s ability to fully participate on the team or behavior which is detrimental or dangerous to the other players on the team. &nbsp; After a head coach has made a decision to dismiss or remove a player, such player is not eligible for any refund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item\" data-accordion=\"accordion-exclusions-from-the-reimbursement-policy\"><div class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-heading\"><button type=\"button\" id=\"accordion-exclusions-from-the-reimbursement-policy-button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-exclusions-from-the-reimbursement-policy-content\"><span class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-label\"><strong>Exclusions from the Reimbursement Policy<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-collapse\"><svg class=\"ghostkit-svg-icon\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M9.21967 6.2197C9.51256 5.9268 9.98744 5.9268 10.2803 6.2197L15.5303 11.4697C15.8232 11.7626 15.8232 12.2374 15.5303 12.5303L10.2803 17.7803C9.98744 18.0732 9.51256 18.0732 9.21967 17.7803C8.92678 17.4874 8.92678 17.0126 9.21967 16.7197L13.9393 12L9.21967 7.2803C8.92678 6.9874 8.92678 6.5126 9.21967 6.2197Z\" fill=\"currentColor\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/button><\/div><div id=\"accordion-exclusions-from-the-reimbursement-policy-content\" class=\"ghostkit-accordion-item-content is-layout-flow wp-block-ghostkit-accordion-item-is-layout-flow\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-exclusions-from-the-reimbursement-policy-button\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This Reimbursement Policy will not extend to reimbursement of player registration fees&nbsp; resulting in whole or in part from, or contributed to by, or as a natural or probable consequence of, any of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suspension of the Player for all or part of a season for disciplinary reasons\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No refunds will be made to any players who are suspended from their team for all or part of the season as a result of disciplinary action by the head coach.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>War or any act of war, declared or undeclared.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Player\u2019s inability to participate due to loss or injury caused by the player\u2019s consumption of alcohol or any non-prescribed medication.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Player\u2019s decision to quit participation with ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball for any reason.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A player\u2019s removal\/reassignment from a team based on lack of effort in competition&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A player\u2019s temporary inability to participate due to vacation, family emergency, illness, non-season ending injury, or other reason.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All late fees are non-refundable&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-text-color has-white-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-white-background-color has-background\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elite Athletics, Inc. d\/b\/a ABSA, Alliance Baseball, Alliance Softball is committed to providing our players with the unparalleled opportunity to enhance and develop their knowledge and skills in order to [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":225,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"ghostkit_customizer_options":"","ghostkit_custom_css":"","ghostkit_custom_js_head":"","ghostkit_custom_js_foot":"","ghostkit_typography":"","_genesis_hide_title":true,"_genesis_hide_breadcrumbs":false,"_genesis_hide_singular_image":false,"_genesis_hide_footer_widgets":false,"_genesis_custom_body_class":"","_genesis_custom_post_class":"","_genesis_layout":"","sec_layout_page":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-125","page","type-page","status-publish","entry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
